I love writing poetry,
Comes straight from my heart;
Puting into words,
How my feelings start.

I get inspiration,
From all I hear and see;
They aren't just my words,
They are a part of me.

I look at our world,
And I see sometimes;
Its potential for peace,
And also its crimes.

When times feel tough,
Sometimes real hard;
My heart tells me,
I hold the card.

This card I speak of,
Gives peace to me;
For with God in my heart,
I shall be set free.

So read real close,
As I write this my friend;
My emotions and words,
With poetry will never end.
